The screenshot above illustrates the 'Search by Call Sign' functionality provided by the HAM Lookup Amateur Radio callsign search callbook CD-ROM. Simply type the callsign in the field provided and press Enter or click the 'search' button.

When license data for the specified callsign is found in the license database, the name, address and other pertinent license details associated with the callsign are shown in the middle pane, and a new call sign entry is added to the 'QSO In-the-group' list that appears on the right side of the HAM Lookup dialog.

The 'QSO In-the-group' list is one of the many unique and incredibly useful features contained in HAM Lookup. The 'QSO In-the-group' list contains the callsign, first name, city and state for each successfully found call sign. This list can be sorted alphabetically or reverse-alphabetically by any of the four columns.

The 'QSO In-the-group' list can also be saved to a file (with any name) that you can re-load later. This save and restore functionality is another wonderful feature that effects logging - great for contesting, net-control, QSL'ing or a myriad of other uses.
